There was nothing good about our stay there.
The first room we were given was freezing cold, as the heat had not been turned on. The light fixture in the bathroom did not work properly, and the cover for it was laying on the sink. The sink in the bathroom had dead flies in it. We immediately went down to the reception desk, where the attendant said she would find us another room. She personally went to look at it and then gave us the key. She said that she had turned on the heat for us while she was up there. This should have tipped us off right away. The room was chilly for another 3-4 hours, and never really got to a comfortable temperature. We had a jacuzzi in our room that we didn't even use because it wasn't ever warm enough to get in it. Needless to say, we were scheduled for another night and cancelled it to go to a hotel with heated rooms!

It was close to where I needed to go.
They had no extra towels or face cloths available! Had to wait on them to finish drying. It was a huge inconvenience!

check-in was convenient. Guy at check-out Sunday morning was nice.
The hall way stunk. The room had a smell to it. Mold in the grout in the shower, the wallpaper was buckled and peeling. There is still a tube TV in the room so amenities are very poor. The breakfast was open boxes of 3 types of donuts and bread to put in a toaster. Not even one of the waffle makers that are at all hotels.

Courtesy, room clean and comfortable, economical.
Wi-fi didn't work, hallways hadn't been vacuumed. Some lack of cleanliness in shower.

The lobby was bright and cheerful. The staff was very friendly.
It's very old and definitely needs updating. The room was shabby and the mattress seemed very worn.

Never saw anyone at the desk. Thank goodness my husband had checked in earlier and gotten the keys to both rooms. I had to call him to find the place in the dark no lit signage mapquest and it on the other side of the road. I had to call him again to get our room number. There were nO towels in the room he had to call for some. Light switch plate broken in the bath room exposed wiring. Only 1 coffee cup no glasses I'm the room torn wallpaper. We had booked 2 rooms. They only had 1 in their system but came up with the second It's a hotel in transition of ownership

The hot tub in the room was a nice touch.
The blankets were scratchy, we found a dirty spoon and other trash in a couple spots. The floors were gritty like the vacuum didn't quite work on them. Amass they had no shampoo in the room, just two conditioners.

Besides Ms. Lucy at the front desk, this place was a inch away from being the drug house in New Jack City
Sink didn't work, phone didn't work, pubic hair on the shower walls (was already there). The entire building smelled terrible, no amenities in the bath room. Key card didn't work.

Seems not to be operating as a hotel/motel. Waited approx. 10 minutes to at least look at a room. Sign indicated person would return shortly. We stayed elsewhere.

Ease of access. Cheap room
An old motel that appears like it was closed for awhile and now reopened with no updating. Cat urine smell in the hallways, smokey rooms and dirty surfaces. Open windows on all stories. The facilties need a major renovation, but this is an ageing neighborhood in Lansing. I don't know if the investment in the building is worthwhile in the long run.
